ABSTRACT: This study examines the role of ethical education in vocational programs, emphasizing its importance in developing responsible and professional vocational graduates. The objectives were to (1) assess the current state of ethical education in vocational programs, (2) evaluate the impact of ethical education on student behavior and professional readiness, and (3) propose strategies to enhance ethical education in vocational training. A survey design was employed to gather data from students, educators, and industry professionals to understand the incorporation and impact of ethical education. The sample size included 230 participants, selected through a purposive sampling technique to ensure diverse perspectives on ethical education. The case study focused on Delta State, Nigeria, known for its diverse vocational education landscape. Findings revealed that while ethical education was present, it was often limited to theoretical instruction with little practical application. The impact of ethical education was significant in shaping student behavior and professional conduct. Recommendations included integrating ethical education across all vocational courses, providing practical scenarios and case studies to enhance understanding, and involving industry professionals in delivering ethical training to ensure relevance and real-world application.
